The Nitro is similar to the Propane but uses a swallow tail or double-wing swallow tail rather than the standard squash. The tail breaks and releases water so the board loves to ride in the most critical section of the wave, deep in the pocket and thrives on hard bottom turns transitioning into vertical snapping maneuvers off the top. Because of the way the tail releases water this board can be surfed on both larger and smaller days.
